Welcome to Writers Haven vers.3. Though the design and some of the content has changed, the site's purpose is still the same - to unite writers, artists, and rpers from all over in a homely community. I really hope you enjoy your stay! {Pay no mind to that Harry Potter reference in the design}
In due time, I will create a video tutorial on how to use proboards and what one can find on Writers Haven. This will stay blank until then.
When the staff list gets renewed, I'll also link to them here.
By spotlights, I mean important events, most notably the stuff I need members to participate in for the monthly newsletter. There will be links here when I start to plan November 2009's newsletter.
This is NOT the affiliation section. That's below. The links I will put here pertain to other stuff of importance, like really helpful writing sites.
I'm not exactly sure if I'll add a playlist, but I'm seriously considering it.

Fill out Form for the contest host « Thread Started on Aug 11, 2007, 3:39pm »
If a contest is being held you must PM me with all the information about the contest such as the goal, how many people will be competing, and the prizes. I seldom refuse any contest requests from members so don't worry about that. If I find out that you're hosting a contest and I didn't approve of it, I'll delete it. Just take out the time to ask me first, and I might be able to help with the prizes.
Contest Fill-Out Form
Name of Contest: Number of Competitors eligible: (How many people can compete in this contest?) Contest Rules: Last day to enter: All entries Due date: The day winner will be announced: Prizes:
Note: You can either have your competitors post a link of their entry or place it in their post, but a link is preferred. When you (the creator of the contest) has all the entries on the due date you'll copy the links and move what is copied to the judging sub board. If the competitor has a link of their story from a blog or Fictionpress account than it'll make things a lot easier for those who want to judge. If competitors display their entry in their post than I (the Admin) will have to copy and paste the entry onto my blog and then give the link to the contest creator. When the contest is over I'll delete the story off of my blog. The competitors should keep things simple, though, and just give the creator a link or just not compete. Prizes probably won't be the greatest, but everybody likes to win right?
P.S. If you need any help at all with hosting the contest than feel free to PM me.
